Proven Principles Of Success Series | #ShopLocal

There was once a time when the roads were filled with nothing but small businesses. Local Saloons and bars would take in customers from all walks of life, back in 1800s America. Samurai and tradespeople would stop by stalls and outdoor eateries to replenish their strength for the long journey on foot, back in 1800s Japan. No matter the country or city, local small businesses kept the place afloat, financially. Nowadays, big corporations tower over small businesses, both in the financial realm and the technology realm. What's more, due to the global pandemic, a lot of small businesses were forced to either have their shops online; or permanently close. No doubt, few local entrepreneurs considered themselves lucky if they had a small business loan to keep them afloat.

If there is one thing this global pandemic has taught me, it's that we must show some love and support to all the new and existing small businesses. Without their ingenuity and tenacity, local businesses would not be able to help their communities and families. Most of us want to give back to our communities. Yet, we only think of making a charity; or doing something really big. Why not start small?

If you think about it, Amazon, Microsoft, Walmart, Coca-Cola, and all your favorite name-brands started off small. Yet, some people supported their product or vision. Why can't we do the same for the local entrepreneurs and small business owners of today? After all, small business owners are personable people who desire to bring good to their communities via sustainable, durable, and homemade products. Not only that, but small business owners appreciate it greatly when we share our experience or reviews of their products on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, or any other Social Media influencing platform.

How many of us recommend the big stores to our friends, but never the local shops in our town? How many of us want to recommend small businesses online, but don't know how? Well, a convenient and affordable way to do it is by recommending said online shops and local businesses to us! That's right, we have a program dedicated to showing love to small business owners and the good they are doing in their communities. We spotlight the businesses you recommend us try. We share with others via our Creative Boss Initiative YouTube page. And we reach out to our partners in K.O. Productions Media to try the products and share with others on their social media pages. If you'd like more information, reach out to us via tinyboss95@gmail.com to get an e-brochure on the program.

Love this post! This is a great way to get the word out about supporting small businesses, I think we all need a constant reminder to do this because we are too accustomed to shopping at the bigger stores and outlets.

Yes, and I have some friends who have created online businesses during this COVID season, whom I want to support and spread the word to others.
