When we studied for tests in school, we had to put a lot of time and effort into our studies. Sometimes, we had to change up our study habits, depending on the subject. For Math, we had to use a calculator and a combination of variables to get the right answer. For history, we had to go to the library and find biographies and records that pertain to that historical moment. For science, we had to go to the lab and use all kinds of instruments to study chemical compounds.
The one thing that was common about our study habits is the fact that it took time.
The phrase, "time equals money" can also apply to our time in studying the values of wealth management. We don't have to be experts in the financial industry in order to be super wealthy and rich. We don't have to chase after a degree in finance to be like the 1%. Rather, we can put time into studying simple ways we can budget, save, earn, and grow our money.
One of the more common studies people pursue is investing. Be it in stocks, ETFs, forex, cryptocurrency, NFTs, bonds, CDs or options, we all want to invest our time learning a trade. It may not be easy to grasp it all at first. It may take years before we understand and comprehend the intricacies of trading. But the key for us to remember is we must always consistently show up, take action via practicing or taking lessons, and read, read, read! Investing involves time, which can result in people making a lot of money. But it is time well spent.
Another common study people pursue is seeking the right venture to invest in. For this, we can seek a financial advisor who can help us better plan our financial future. And when we want to invest in a venture, we can ask them for ways to prepare our money for such an investment. Of course, we must do our part and research what venture to invest in; and see whether or not it aligns with our core values and principles.
And finally, a study people pursue is how to build a thriving online business. Small businesses have now taken the internet by storm, thanks to the COVID lockdowns. Most small businesses thrive more online than in-person, since the internet - and social media - can cause ones audience to grow and expand globally. Those who are gifted in arts and crafts usually find a home for their business on platforms like Etsy® or Amazon®. But in order for their business to thrive online, time and study is required to learn about how to create a great business plan, organize a business roadmap, creating the logo and designing the products, outsourcing to PR Marketing professionals, and so much more! But the end result can be very lucrative and rewarding!
No matter where you place your time, be sure it aligns with your purpose. You can tell it aligns with your purpose if it brings you joy and peace; and you can definitely tell it aligns when you constantly have it on your mind, in the form of intrigue and wonder.
